An image should tell a story, evoke an emotion, and cause the viewer to think. I try to accomplish this in all of my photographs: portraits, head shots, fashion, commercial, and artistic ventures. The subject, composition, setting, and lighting all contribute to this end.
I've spent over twenty years in the motion picture industry working with, and watching, the lighting. I take all that I've learned and apply it to still photography, making for a blend of technique which gives the images a different edge. This edge can be used to help you separate from the pack.
